What are the fees to use the card?
How can I verify my Moneybookers account?Just go to "manage card" and upload a colour scan of your personal identification document - such as ID card, passport or driving license. In addition we may also require you to provide proof of address: a scanned copy of a paper based document issued in the past 3 months showing your name and address, such as a utility bill, bank statement or similar.
Why do I need to verify my Moneybookers account?For regulatory reasons we may only issue cards to customers, whose address and identity we have verified. Your personal information is safe with us and subject to our strict privacy policy. Any information you provide to us, will only be disclosed in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1998. Further, Moneybookers is enrolled in the TRUSTe Privacy Program, an independent, non-profit organisation whose mission is to build users' trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair information practices.
What is the Moneybookers Master Card?The Moneybookers MasterCard is a reloadable prepaid card which is connected to your Moneybookers account. The card accesses the funds on your account and does not require separate loading. It can be used in a similar way to a debit or credit card - for shopping at millions of locations, online or over the phone and for withdrawals at over 1 million cash machines worldwide.
Who can apply?Anyone who is over 18 years old, resides in the European Union and has a fully verified Moneybookers account can apply for the card.
How can I apply?After opening a free Moneybookers account you can order your card online by clicking on the "My MasterCard" link in the "My Account" section. No credit checks are required, however, for security purposes we require you to verify yourself by providing copies of identification documents.

What can I use my card for?You can use your card for shopping online, in stores, abroad and cash withdrawals at ATMs. In fact, you can use your card anywhere MasterCard is accepted. That's over 28.5 million places all over the world.
How can I fund and manage my card?Your Moneybookers MasterCard is directly linked to your account, so the funds on your card are the same as on your account. To fund your account, go to www.moneybookers.com, click on the "upload funds" tab and select credit/debit cards, bank transfer or one of our local payment options to fund your account. All transactions you make with your card will appear in your account history, which you can conveniently check online at anytime around the clock.
Can I use the card abroad?Yes. It is much easier and more comfortable then having to deal with foreign currencies. Your card is accepted anywhere MasterCard is accepted.
Can I get transaction statements?Moneybookers does not issue paper based statements. However, you can view your card transactions anytime via your online account to control your spending. Simply go to www.moneybookers.com, login and click on "History".
Can my card be used by someone else?No, your card can be used by the card applicant only. You should not let anyone else use your card.
Can I cancel my card?Yes, you can cancel your card at any time. The remaining value is redeemed (subject to Terms and Conditions). Please read the Moneybookers MasterCard Terms and Conditions for further details.
What happens when my card expires?We will inform you before your card is about to expire. Simply confirm whether or not you would like a new card. New cards will be issued to you before your old card expires.
How do I get my PIN?Once your application is approved, the PIN will be automatically sent to your address. For security purposes, the PIN Mailer will be sent separately to your Moneybookers MasterCard. If you have lost or forgotten your PIN, you may order a PIN re-issue free of charge. Please protect your PIN, never write it down and never disclose it to anyone!
How do I change my PIN?Your card is issued with a random PIN. If you would like to change it to something more memorable, you can do so at most ATMs. If you cannot change your PIN at an ATM, it probably means the ATM is not 'chip-enabled'.
What if my card is lost or stolen?If you are unfortunate enough to lose your card, please call Customer Services as soon as possible on +44 (0) 207 117 6017. Your card will be blocked immediately for further use and a new card issued, if requested.
